Electronic Tongue to Refine Cava Production

It was developed at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and was initially used to detect the errors in the cava production processes and acquires a caliber to estimate the amount of sugar added after secondary fermentation during the cava wine production process.
Royal Philips inks pact to acquire Italian Group

However, successful completion of this transaction is, amongst others, subject to Philips reaching a final agreement with Saeco's banks with which the company has outstanding credit obligations.
