Gamesa Strikes Deal With Chinese Firm

Latest reports have revealed that Gamesa from Spain has now signed a deal with a firm from China. This deal is for the investments in the energy sector, and there have been announcements of a new contract.
According to the new contract, the firm is going to build wind parks that shall be capable of supplying 200 megawatts of energy to the Huadian New Energy Development Company situated in Mongolia Province in China. This shall make use of turbines of 2.0 megawatt, revealed Gamesa.
It was revealed that there was an upsurge seen in the shares of Gamesa, by 3.343 Euros, after the announcement of this new deal.
"Gamesa in China continues its efforts to contribute with its technology, manufacturing capacity and operation and maintenance services and wind farm development activities to China's energy commitment" revealed Jose Antonio Miranda, the Chairman of Gamesa.
There is dire need of renewable energy sources for China, the most populated country in the world. This shall be able to help them meet the energy requirements by 15%, till the year 2020. Gamesa has so far installed as many as
3000 turbines across the nation, at 60 locations, since the year 2000.
