November 20: Elections in Spain

Elections are nearing Spain, and it has made leaders come forward and share their objectives for betterment of economy. As told by the leader of Spain's conservative party on Monday, if he becomes the prime minister by this election on November 20 then he would not only lessen the taxes on businesses to persuade entrepreneurs for performing well, but will also reduce the rate of unemployment in the country.

In Spain, most of the companies are small and medium sized and therefore, he said that along with other measures he will also reduce taxes by around 5% points over most of the companies.

Besides, corporate profits that help in creating jobs would also be taxed at a lower rate. Personal income taxes and VAT, which is a tax on sales or services, will not be touched. Though he is not in favor of these taxes, he has not showed any kind of amendments to bring in towards them.

Till now, no such offerings or promises have been put forward by Mariano Rajoy of the Popular Party. He seems to be quiet on his initiatives for economic growth.
