Recently, Dr. Agnes Nairn and charity commissioned Ipsos MORI carried out a study to find out that why children in UK don’t get the amount of care and love from their parents to the extent they expect.
United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has found out that when compared to children of other developed nations, the children of UK are on the lowest rank in terms of their wellbeing.
At the same time, children of Spain and Sweden are lucky enough to get sufficient time from their parents as they are very well able to manage things in a better way and don’t suffer from shortage of time like UK parents.
In their consequent findings, it was very clear that every child whether in UK, Spain or Sweden wants good quality time to spend with their family and friends. For them it is their utmost requirement, but unlucky, despite introducing of family friendly policies by the government, UK parents hardly get time to spend with their children. They are mostly found struggling to meet the needs of their family and are burdened with loads of work commitments.
In a nut shell, for parents in Spain and Sweden, family is very important, whereas for those in UK, the things are otherwise.
