Prime Minister Mr. Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero has recently announced that Spain is efficient enough to survive all the arousing tensions that are presently affecting the markets severely, and thus, it does need any international bailout at its end.
In a recent news conference in Ankara, with Turkish Prime Minister Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan that was carried on Spanish television, he said that: "Spain, of course, will finance itself. We will survive these tensions. They are not good for our economy, but we will survive them. We have strength”.
He also cleared in his interview that the agencies have already taken appropriate measures to handle the current situation, and almost all the planning of the scenarios that the country might face in the last part of this year has been done.
All of the prime minister’s remarks were released a day after, when union leader claimed that On August 17, Zapatero informed the unions about the worsening financial conditions in the country and that Spain is on the verge of a financial rescue.
But, Labour Union Chief Mr. Ignacio Fernandez Toxo on Tuesday cleared all the rumors by saying that Mr. Zapatero did not use any such words in any of his statements and the present situations will improvise soon.
