Telefonica is going to start its operations in London which would be headed by Mathew Key who already handles their marketing department in Europe.
The main aspects of London business would be for gas meters, as well as for traffic lights and for that they would do advertising and health promotion campaigns. The effort would also help 2500 people to get job over there as they would run London division all new staff. Headquarter of London company would be based in Slough, but after some time, it would shift to central London.
London is a big market for Telefonica, and it is `the moment' for them to either make their contacts or lose them forever.
Not only it is starting new operations in London, but is also experimenting to advance its features. Therefore, it would use a mix of Skype, jajah, tueneti services in London. Officials claim that it is necessary for them to do advancement in the technology as it is the key point for them to register growth.
Everything seems to be going overhaul in Telefonica as now there would not be one unit, but two, one in Latin America and other in Spain. Latin America would handle everything related to its part while Spain would handle rest of operations related to Europe.
