A smarten version of Wii console will be launched in Europe by the end of this year, Nintendo announced this week.
The mutation in the popular console has modernized the existing device as the basic change was that the Wii will have buttons labeled more for horizontal placement instead of vertical.
However, the restructured Wii will not sustain the backwards compatibility and will not operate with GameCube games or hardware like the GameCube pad.
The smarten version of Wii will carry a Remote Plus controller, Nunchuk, and copies of Wii Sports and Wii Party along with it and will be out in White colour. The revamped Wii has almost the same features as the current modal but has an addition of more oblong disc slot.
Nintendo has not revealed the price of the new version, though it has confirmed that the company will soon come up with new Wii bundles.
The new games to be introduced in the European market include the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword that will be out on November 18.
Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 will be out in late November or early December.
Also, Nintendo will release Super Pokemon Rumble in the 3D version during December.
According to the statement by Nintendo, "In Europe we will focus on the new Wii Bundle/s going forward".
