Spain Defeats the Young Socceroos by 5 to 1

According to reports, the young socceroors are out of the FIFA U-20 World Cup COLOMBIA 2011, as they were defeated by Spain by 5 to 1 at the Estadio Palogrande in Manizales.
Also, Spain was said to be four goals ahead in the opening 18 minutes of the match, with three of the goals scored by Alvaro Vazques, and though Kerem Bulut succeeded to keep a goal back for the Young Socceroos in the 27th minute, Sergio Canales was on point from the penalty spot, as he scored Spain’s fifth goal of the match after the half-hour.
The Head Coach, Jan Versleijen of the young socceroos, promised to made some changes to the starting line-up with Bernie Ibini-Isei and Mustafa Amini taking the place of Ben Kantarovski and Dimitrios Petratos, with the goalkeeper Mark Birighitti given the captain’s armband in the absence of Kantarovski, who was suspended.
Moreover, in the second half, the Young Socceroos became more determined and attacked as they appeared more likely to score; Terry Antonis and Bulut both had two shots on point, though the substitute goalkeeper Alex was quite efficient in preventing Australia’s second goal of the match.
