Spain Wins the Crown for the Best Holiday Destination

There are many factors that have contributed to revive Spain Tourism industry, some of them are, increased prices in Turkey, insecurity in rival holiday destinations-Egypt, Tunisia, and Greece, superiority over other holiday destinations, regarding the diverse facilities available in Spain.

It has been a big comeback by the country, as due to weakening of pound in the stock exchange, and economic crisis has decreased the number of holidaymakers, going to Spain. Spanish tourism ministry informed that last month, only 1.5million British travelled to Spain and in first six months, the number was mind boggling, which was 5.9million.

Many travel agents are explaining the reasons for this; Bill Munro, Director of Barrhead Travel, told that Spain’s competitive prices and a variety of entertainment options attract not only couples, but families also, who majorly look for complete family package. Other attractions for this place is the economic prices of bars, restaurants and its infrastructure is also far more better than Turkey, which for some time became the number one holiday destination.

If to talk about recession, then Spain is in worse condition, when compared with Britain, as it has maximum number of unsold property. Spanish property rates have also reduced by 5.2%.The worst hit was Mercia, where prices fell by 8.4%.
