Spain has not only bagged the first position on the list of favorite destination for its holidaymakers, but it has also retained its top position in the latest FIFA rankings. There were many other countries, which had jumped upwards.
Uruguay is now at fifth position, highest ever in its football history. These standings would be effectively used to decide seeding in Saturday's World Cup qualifying draw.
If to talk about who is leading in the race, then Spain, the Netherlands and Germany, are the ones, while Brazil has reached at number fourth, despite qualifying Copa America quarterfinals.
England stands at sixth place, and Italy, at number eight. But they are certain of top seeding in their qualifying groups.
Mexico faced the downfall, as it slipped from number 11 to number 20, US was tumbled down to position number 30 from sixth.
Argentina did not witness any fluctuations, and remained at number 10, but Chile rose to number 11 from number 16.
Due to 3-0 win over Paraguay in the Buenos Aires final, Uruguay has jumped from 18th position to fifth position.
The total standings of the world and European champions Spain had its ruling by 1588 points.
