The news that Barcelona has agreed to sell Spain Under-21 star Bojan Krkic to Italian giant Roma for €12 million has given a shock to coach Pep Guardiola. He did not have a word with coach Pep Guardiola, since they won Champions League final in May.
Bojan has played for Barcelona for a long time, but was rarely used last season, following the summer arrival of David Villa. He was angry for not playing any part in the 3-1 Champions League final win over Manchester United at Wembley stadium. Bojan said, “As a fan, Pep Guardiola is the best coach in the world, but personally, things happened to me that hurt me and I can't say the same thing”.
He blamed that Guardiola was not fair with him on many occasions and it was one of the reason of his departure. It was not that he did not try to sort out things, but there were many things that were not clear for both of them, what was clear, was his departure.
Guardiola said he was happy that Boja would head to Roma, but he said that he has insisted to get him back under a buy-back clause, where they could get Barcelona back to the camp for €13 million, but before the end of the 2012/13 season.
