Biaggi Conquers at Superbike World Cup

Superbike racing fans geared up for the Superbike World Cup 2011 this past weekend to see the outcome between top racers: Carlos Checa and Max Biaggi.

In the first half of the race, Biaggi did not start off on the right foot and lost the race to Marco Melandri. However, not all hope was lost to defeat Checa, who crashed in the seventh lap.

Max showed his determination and dedication to this sport over the past couple days at the tournament and was in the lead for 35 of the 40 laps. "I am truly happy. This is the first victory with the number 1 on the fairing. I think it could have happened a lot sooner. Unfortunately there was always some circumstance that kept it from us, but we deserve it and I will enjoy it with my team. I must thank the team”.

The championship leader, Carlos Checa was Biaggi’s number one focus for the weekend. Biaggi’s team-mate Leon Camier was ahead of Yamaha rider Eugene Laverty who was on top of the fight with Tom Sykes.

Biaggi was able to win two of the races and still fight off Marco Melandri-who he lost to in the first race.
