Spain and Morocco expand joint security programs

According to some recent reports, Spain has promoted military ties with neighboring Morocco as part of joint efforts to spoil terrorism and illegal migration.
Moreover, talking to media, a spokesperson from the Spanish government said that Spain, which maintains an enclave along the North African coast, has been assisting Morocco in counter-insurgency, barricading unlawful migration and planning.
Further, it also added that the two nations have aligned naval operations in the western Mediterranean.
Officials stated that the two Mediterranean nations have decided to increase military cooperation over the next year.
They said, “The agreement would include military exercises, training and Spanish technical assistance to the Royal Moroccan Navyand Coast Guard. “
