Authorities Call ETA to End Their Violent Acts

The meeting would certainly be making some pioneering decision in the country’s history as all the Officials will give an ultimate end to armed Basque separatist group ETA.
The whole issue came to limelight after the previous reports announced that from at least 4 decades ETA have been continually performing many life ending bombing and shooting acts.
Fear over Volcanic Eruption at Canary Islands

As a lot of irregular landslide cases have been witnessed at Pico de Malpaso Mountain the authorities fear over the eruption of the volcano at the Atlantic island of El Hierro, so lot of preparations have been made which involves shifting of the residents.
Spain’s 9bn Loterias Sold Off Under Bank Pressure

Earlier, the government was planning to augment the public treasury but due to the pressure of the opposition they had to take an immediate decision of selling the treasury.
One of the fund managers notified that banks are in immediate need of capital and the support of finances can only help them out in maintaining their balance sheets.
ETA to Go Peaceful on Basque’s Independence

In response to the decision, the 700 imprisoned activists of ETA also agreed to abide by the decision taken by the party and appealed for forgiveness. But, activists were not ready to suspend ETA completely as demanded by the Government of Spain. The members also stick to the proposal to provide the residents of Basque with the right to decide on the issue of independence.
Barcelona Looking Forward to Ban Bull Fighting

A ban has already been imposed in the region of Catalonia, and is due to be effective from next year. The bull fighting tradition is 600-year-old, which started in the year 1387.
The authorities plan to kill special breed bull used for fighting in the city, with hope of witnessing a better future. This year's fight was witnessed by 18,000 people, where 3 matadors were seen participating in the fight. This year, spectators paid an amount of _3500 for every ticket to witness the show.
Madrid Teachers on Roads Protesting Against Austerity Measures

The two-day strike of the teachers has disrupted the education atmosphere as thousand of pupils across the region do not have mentors to teach them.
The teachers in Madrid have been protesting against their right and their voice has echoed across the country.
The cut in the education sector is a resultant of the government plan that intends to taper its financial deficit to 6% of GDP this year, which was more than 9% in 2010.
Spanish Warship to Return Home

They are of the view that the treasure than was found after a deep sea exploration which was estimated to be extremely valuable and 200 years old, belongs to Spain and is going to be returned to the nation.
The name of the long lost ship was "Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes" and it was found by the Odyssey firm. They had to swim 1700 feet down under to unravel this mystery and find these exuberant treasures.

Spanish Judges seem to follow the rule as they have reopened the most controversial sexual assault cases in which Saudi prince was found to have been involved. In 2008, a 20-year-old model alleged that she was sexually assaulted on a yacht.
Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud hold maximum stakes in Citigroup, besides he is the second largest investor in the News Corporation. This year, Forbes, a well known business magazine, listed him in the richest personalities of the world.
‘Fare De Well’ Raton

This was a bull who earned as much as $20, 000 every time he had a fight. The bull has killed three people so far, and was known for his fierce attitude in the ring.
His name is Raton and he is 11 years old.
The bull is about 500kg in weight and has an evident triangle mark between his horns. He has been entertaining spectators since many years now and it is time he retires now, after series of bullfights and injured people.
